Santorini Island Tourist Traps: 44 reviews and 71 photos
The biggest laugh I had on Santorini came when I tried to send home a couple of bottles of wine wrapped in some souveniers. The package had to weigh no more than 3 kilos, and they did not know, or ask about the contents, but wanted to charge 100 Euro to ship to the States!! When I got back to the mainland in Athens the price was less than half of that. I realize that it is an island, and should cost more, but not that much more!! If you can, leave enough space in your bag, or wait until the mainland to ship. Your pocketbook will thank you!
