  Western Screen-Salisbury Cathedral
by bpwillet

This western face was the last part added to the cathedral before its completion, to the right it is the cathedral entrance and cloisters. The nave, choir and chapels were built in one phase between 1220 and 1258. The Cathedral also houses the best preserved of 4 original surviving Magna Carta, composed around 1215 and Europe's oldest working clock built in 1386. There is also a unique 13th century carving of bible stories in the Chapter House.

Admission charges are by voluntary donation. Though they suggest:
Adults GBP3.80; Senior Citizens GBP3.30; Child GBP2.00; Family GBP8.50.
