"Great View from the Coudenberg" Koningsplein - King's square Tip by filipdebont
Koningsplein - King's square, Brussels: 5 reviews and 6 photos
The Koningsplein (King's Square) is located on hill named the Coudenberg (berg means mountain - and as Belgium is kind of a flat country we like to give our hills mountain names).
As this is a higher spot in Brussels, you gave a great view in different directions.
Best is to stand near the statue of Godfried van Bouillon in the middle of the square.
Then you have a great view over the Kunstberg (Art mountain) and in the other direction you have a great view on the Palace of Justice (see picture).
Directions: Off Rue de la Régence, Rue Montagne de la Cour, Rue Royale, Borgendaalgang, & Naamsestraat
