When we were in New Zealand, almost every city we went to had an Indian restaurant in just about every block. New Zealand has a fairly high Indian population and there's a wide variety of choice for these type of restaurants.

I'll leave you with my very best Indian restaurant tip for New Zealand (and perhaps the very best Indian meal I've ever eaten!) And main meals were only around $15 ea! Great decor - blend of NZ and slightly Indian, with a bar, great food, great service.

Favorite Dish: I tried several dishes, as it was so great the first time I came back again.
There are dishes I'd never seen before at other Indian Restaurants, because they were from different regions of India, apart from the favourite common Indian dishes that most people knew like Beef Vindaloo and Lamb Korma.

The Naan breads were also particularly good, some stuffed with mince, others cheese, or onion.
I really enjoyed the cheese one.
