  Wawel's courtyard
by Skeptic-jr

One of the most breathtaking place on the castle's hill. Arcaded courtyard of the Wawel Castle has three levels with the galleries. Here you can easily feel the soul of Renaissance of this "open chamber" where in the past were organized knights' contests, ceremonies and balls. The coutryard was made according to the plans of the Italian architects Franciszek Wloch and Bartlomiej Berecci between years 1507 and 1533.
