If you're looking for a sandwich, this is the place to go. They make their famous bread up into huge sandwiches, and unless you are really hungry, order the 1/2 sandwich.

Their delicious, beautifully textured multigrain bread is made without milk or eggs and it's fat free. Raisin bread is available too. Besides sandwiches, they usually have a couple of soups to choose from, a nice assortment of desserts, and at their Parkdale location in Northwest Calgary, they serve breakfast.

Favorite Dish: I always have the roast turkey (made with real roast turkey) with dressing and cranberry sauce. The rhubarb sour-cream pie is always worth getting, and they always have those sinfully sweet peanut butter marshmallow squares that you only see at Christmas.
