Luggage and bags: Nothing out of the ordinary. Some airliners (like Lufthansa) have thight restrictions on the sizes you can carry on board (in the cabin). I'd recomend you bring a daypack in the form of a small rucksack as well as suitcases.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Remember to pack rain gear because It does rain a lot in Bergen. I would not recomend umbrellas since it can be rather windy. Bring some sort of raincoat instead.

Warm sweaters are a good idea, even in the summer, but don't forget those T-shirts. The summer temperature is verry unpredictable.

If you are about to walk from Ulrikken to the Fløyen. Good sensible boots that can withstand water. Do not use new boots that you haven't walked in yet.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Toiletries: You can buy anything you want here in Bergen, but some might find the prices a bit stiff. Try to buy them in low price grocery stores like Rimi or Rema.
If you need prescription medicine: Remember to bring a certificate of some cind.

Photo Equipment: I often use a wide angle lens, UV-filter and polarizer, but thats just me. Honestly: You'll find all cinds of photo opertunities and all conditions.

Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: A good rucksack.

Miscellaneous: The voltage in Norway is 230V 50Hz, like most european countries. The plug is a european plug or similar. Bring an adapter if our comming from the US or the UK.
