"Visit the glass factories...." West Virginia Things to Do Tip by bhodgson

Visit the glass factories. There is one in Williamstown-you may reconize the name-Fenton. They do tours and their glassware is excellent. They still hand blow the glass and the artisians sign their work by putting their stamp insignia in the glass or by painting on the bottom or side.

This is almost a lost art and one that should be preserved. Many people associate Fenton with the bumpy milk glass and the ornate lamps but they are so much more.

Directions: Williamstown is a very small little village across the river from Marietta Ohio-just ask anyone in town for directions if you miss all of the signs!
