Flower Market Cafe: "Good breakfast food in a local setting" Bechelli's Flower Market Cafe Tip by mrtourne

A local hangout for years now, the Flower Market Cafe (located at the Flower Market, on 6th at Brannan) is a sunny, cheerful, great way to start a saturday or sunday morning. A very mixed local crowd comes here - especially for sunday brunch - and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Prices are right, not too expensive. Service is fast (and high tech, with waiters using wireless transmitters that send your order to the kitchen on the spot)
All the egg / breakfast dishes are great and also plentiful ( one note of warning - they usually come with rye toast, so make sure to let them know to replace it if you don't like rye), but the salads are also very good. They serve sandwiches as well, both cold and hot, but I haven't tried those.
There's a small parking lot (usually full) and some street parking but try better for parking on Bryant street, just around the corner (much better odds)
A good place to eat and then walk around and check the orchids and other flowers on sale...
Favorite Dish: The omelettes are very good
