Excuse me, it's more Czech than Jablunkov shopping tip - I will transfer it to my new Czech page, soon!

Czech word "Vecerka" derives from "vecer" which means evening. "Vecerka" is local, usually small grocery which stay open longer, usually till 9 or 10pm, rarely longer.

Genarally most groceries are opened:
Mon - Fri: 6.00am - 6.00pm
Sat and Sun: closed or in some touristy regions and in larger cities opened in the morning (till 1pm) but very rarely on Sunday

Other stores:
Mon - Fri 8.00am - 6.00pm
Sat and Sun - closed

On Saturday and Sunday:
Better go to larger chain supermarkets (like Billa, TESCO) in larger and even smaller cities recently or to food stores on petrol/gas stations. In areas adjacent to Poland even in small villages there were small groceries open in weekends because of Polish consumers.

What to buy: Food and drink. Czech beer at low prices always available.

What to pay: Cheap area :-).

Address: Marianske Namesti, Jablunkov, Czech Republic
Directions: In north-eastern part of town square opposite to parking lot.
Theme: Food and Drink
