"Getting here bay air" Norway Transportation Tip by jonkb

Norway Transportation: 216 reviews and 187 photos

Getting to Norway by air is quite simple: You arrive at Gardermoen airport (Callsign: OSL), wich is the largest airport. Some larger cities also have airlines going directly (Ex. Bergen (Flesland))

Norways biggest airline is SAS (Scandinavian Airline Systems: www.sas.no)
Other airlines worth checking out is:
Widerø flyveselskap (small airplanes) www.wideroe.no
Braathens (bought up by SAS, but still running) www.braathens.no
Norwegian www.norwegian.no
Ryan air www.ryanair.com
Lufthansa www.lufthansa.de
KLM www.klm.com

From Gardermoen you can catch any flight to any of the larger cities in Norway. You could also take the express train to the capital Oslo, and board a train from there (some of the northbound trains also stop at Gardermoen).

Public transport is usually on time. They will also leave on time, so don't be late.
