"Winter driving conditions" Top 5 Page for this destination Grand Forks Warnings Or Dangers Tip by cardsfan66

Grand Forks Warnings and Dangers: 6 reviews and 3 photos

The strong wind creates bad driving conditions with the snow. "White-outs" are just that, you cant see nothing in front of you.
All you can do is pull over and wait it out.
Carry a winter survival kit. Blankets, granola bars, bottled water, etc Keep your cell phone charged. In town is fine, but outside of town on the highways are dangerous. Black ice is also a hazard. You cant see it until its too late. Been in the ditch a couple of times myself. No sunday driving on these roads in the winter...Ha!
