I boarded the "Sea Esta", a live-aboard dive boat operated by Pro-Dive. This is one of the best dive trips in Australia. You get to dive 8 times in the Great Barrier Reef (GBR) and two dives on the SS Yongala Wreck.

The first day, we woke up at Wheeler Reef in the GBR. The first dive was amazing. We had a pleasant dive seeing several barracuda, corral cods, and a school of white fish. The 2nd dive was equally interesting. It was along a slight current. We made our way through the bommies and spotted a large Map puffer fish, a barracuda, a barramundi, a napoleon giant Maori wrasse, a corral cod, a school of white tip fish, a unicorn fish. The 3rd dive was a drift dive. A drift dive is where a diver gets to ride the current. As in the other dives, the visibility was way over 15 meters. We saw so much on this dive it was amazing. We saw a unicorn fish, a white tip shark, a giant turtle that was chilling out at the bottom hidden between the Corral Boomie wall and the sandy floor, a parrot fish, a giant potato fish eating small fish, giant clams, a school of stripped catfish (they look like an eel), an interesting clownfish with florescent yellow strips living in an anemone, a giant Maori Wrasse, and more. The night dive was equally fun. The water visibility was so good; we could literally see underwater with the boat lights above. It was a joint effort on guiding between the both of us. We did made it safely back to the boat. We saw a blue spotted ray, a giant potato cod, some corral cods, clams, sea cucumbers, shrimp, and crabs.
