"Playa San Agustinillo with Chapel" Puerto Ángel Things to Do Tip by CyrilHH

Puerto Ángel Things to Do: 15 reviews and 16 photos

Playa San Agustinillo makes a very long gentle bend. At its western end, towards Mazunte, you see many fishing boats and a couple of nice comedores. The green one decorated with shell curtains is really nice for chilling.

The water here is a bit calmer, so this stretch is usually preferred by families, but it is still a pretty empty beach. Way less people than in Mazunte.

In the sea there is rock outcrop with a small chapel built on it. In the far distance, towards Zipolite, u see a rock whitened by bird ***.

The beach gets wilder and emptier the more East (towards Zipolite) you go (where Posada San Agustinillo is located).
