If you get the chance try driving north into the kuringai chase national park area which is one of the biggest national parks in N.S.W. and is still within sydneys limits,theres lots of activities to be done including a variety of water sports like fishing,sailing ,cruises etc its also very popular area for bushwalking .

Address: West head ,the far north of sydney
Directions: drive north along mona vale rd,take the coal and candle creek turn of to akuna bay ,then head towards west head its at roads end.
