I don't understand why people love Porto Cervo. I found this city, totally rebuilt for tourism, nothing special. Sardinia has a lot of marvellous places and are always cheaper than Porto Cervo.
Yes, lot of famous people go here for their holidays... but if you go across the small streets, you'll find just tourists and sellers...

Fun Alternatives: If you are near Porto Cervo and you want to see similar - but real - places, I suggest Porto Rotondo. I also eat very well there... :)
