This busy restaurant in Chinatown has an extensive menu (what Chinese place doesn't??) and speedy service. You can expect a great range in there, from the more traditional foods like brisket and rice soup (congee) to all the things the western world has loved: plum spare ribs, sweet and sour pork, spring rolls. You can also get fresh crabs and fish at a reasonable market price.

Although service is not always with a smile (they tend to frown and look busy) you can ensure that you get SERVICE. You want it, you got it. Once I even managed to get a meal at 10.30pm on a Tuesday and if you know Brisbane, that is pretty special.

Favorite Dish: The steamed (kung po) chicken is absolutely beautiful. Expect to wait a little while for this dish though. You get a whole chicken steamed with chopped ginger and shallots over its skin to delicately flavour the meat.
