  Air Force Museum, Dayton OH
by Voyageuse30

You could spend all day (and then some) in this huge collection of jets and biplanes and spacecraft and all sorts of aviation memorabilia (there are more than 300 aircraft and missiles on display) .

The museum follows the history of aviation through the very early days up to the present.

With a reservation (and photo ID), you can even walk through Presidential aircraft (including the one in which President Johnson was sworn in right after JFK's assassination).

The admission for this awesome museum is FREE!

There is a cafeteria, gift shop, and an awesome book store on the premises.

Address: 1100 Spatz St., Wright-Patterson AFB, OH 45433
