Bangkok Gardens: "The best Thai in Green Bay" Green Bay Restaurant Tip by littlewhitestar

Green Bay Restaurants: 35 reviews and 40 photos

This restaurant serves the best food in Green Bay, hands down. The atmosphere is slightly ritzy with beautiful wall decorations and plants but the prices are very reasonable--it's about $8.00 per entre, and appetizers are about $5.00 a plate. It's even cheaper for lunch, and at lunch they offer a buffet that's better than any chinese buffet I've ever visited. There's a cute bar adjacent to the restaurant, but it's separated by a set of double doors, so the restaurant is never smoke-filled. They play quiet music, and the service is excellent. Dress can be casual or formal--I've seen couples here dressed up for the theater and teenagers ready for prom, as well as business men/women on lunch. It's a little cold sometimes, though. I'd reccommend bringing a sweater.

Favorite Dish: If you're going to Bangkok Gardens, you must try the Volcano Chicken. It's chicken that's crispy on the outside with tender white meat on the inside in a sweet brown sauce that can be totally mild or very spicy, depending on your preference. All dishes can be spiced up according to your taste--there are three types of spicy sauce that are left on the table for your use. I also love their curries here, and the Large Fried Noodle dish is exquisite.
