While in Siem Reap and at the temples you will run into MANY vendors trying to sell you post cards, scarves or other local crafts. They are relentless. Given the prices [inexpensive] and the economy -- buying a couple sets of postcards and a few scarves won't break you and may help them. [Although they seem to work for subcontractors so who knows ...]

These are traditional Khmer cotton scarves. The green one I bought at Angkor Wat for $1 US -- the checked one was given to each of us by our tour company.
