Nowy Swiat is Warsaws hip street to walk down. With little coffee shops, and a lot of shopping, this street makes for a good place to stretch your legs and just enjoy the people and the atmosphere.

The street runs for about 1 mile and then turns into Krakowskie Przedmieście. Right at this junction, you will find the Church of the Holy Cross. Probably in the top three beautiful churches in Warsaw. This church is worth stopping into. Across from the church, you will find the statue of Nicolaus Copernicus. Not all that exciting, but just take a picture infront of it because everyone else is.

If you continue down Krakowskie Przedmieście, you will also pass the University of Warsaw, Palace Namiestnikowski (Polish White House) where Polands President chills, and finally the Church of St. Anne.

From the biggining of Nowy Swiat to the end of Krakowskie Przedmieście (i cant pronounce it either), its about 2 miles, and this runs you right in to old town =)

* Please feel free to rate this tip, or any of my other tips. I am alway looking to make improvements. Thank you...

Directions: From centrum, walk down al Jerozolimskie pass the Novotel hotel, and take a left of Nowy Swiat.
