The temple of Vesta dates back to the 4th century. The temple is round in form, and surrounded by twenty columns. Only a small part is reconstructed in 1920.

Vesta was, in Roman religion, the hearth goddess. She was highly honored in every household from early times to the beginning of Christianity.
