Favorite thing: Tudor house with ample connections to the Shakespeare family. William's elder daughter Susannah married its owner, Dr. John Hall, in 1607. Presently the house contains 17th century paintings and furniture which would have been appropriate for someone of the Hall's status in Jacobean England. Also information about the esoteric practice of medecine during Renaissance England. Later, after Shakespeare's death Dr. and Mrs. Hall moved from this residence to Shakespeare's own accomodation, New Place, which had been left to Susannah after Will's death.
