"Musee de Cluny is the best museum in Paris" Musée National du Moyen Âge (National Museum of Medieval Art) Tip by pigletsmom
Musée National du Moyen Âge (National Museum of Medieval Art), Paris: 80 reviews and 267 photos
Lovely museum that owns some of the finest examples of medievel art. The collection iis housed in the old Abby of Cluny which was built on Roman ruins. Very lovely setting for a wonderful permanent collection. Another nice thing about this museum is that there are no lines, very few tourists visit this museum. However try to get there early because they do herd children on school trips through the museum. One of the highlights of my trip.
Address: Boulevard St-Michel
Directions: Where Boulevard Saint-Michel meets Boulevard Saint-Germain... couldn't be easier. Metro Cluny-Sorbonne (closer) or Saint-Michel (not far at all).
