"Civic Library" Piazza Vecchia Tip by Mahieu

Piazza Vecchia, Bergamo: 53 reviews and 128 photos

Opposite Palazzo della Regione, you can admire the building of the Angelo Mai Civic Library. The construction of the Library started in the 1600's, and the building was supposed to become the seat of the town hall. However, it was only finished in 1928 (!) and became the civic library. It has nice neoclassical arcades.
