I attended the solemn ceremony of dedicating this chapel called Church of Archbishop St.Luke of Crimea.
The ceremony was held by several bishops and chief priests of Luhansk with Most Reverend Joannicky, Metropolitan of Luhansk and Starobelsk.
The church is located at the central city cemetery, to your right after you enter it. There is public worship on Sundays at 10 a.m. there.
The area surrounding the church itself is a part of the city history. Here at the central entrance to the cemetery you can see the tombs of well-known people of Luhansk who died recently.
