The Museum Moderner Kunst Stiftung Ludwig Wien is a very complete modern art museum that can be interestinng for kids as well.

The newly constructed building designed by architects Ortner & Ortner made it possible to house the entire collection of the museum in one building.
No other museum of modern art has so many important works of socially conscious, reality-based art from the genres of Viennese Actionism, Fluxus, Pop Art, and Hyperrealism.

The primary objective of the collection policy in the last two decades has been to complete the areas of the collection that have evolved into its strong points. Lóránd Hegyi was also very dedicated to the integration of art from Central and Eastern Europe.

The museum's focus is on current and innovative perspectives in its collection efforts and in its exhibition program. It will present a new profile to the public.

My daughter (8 years like it very much because there are so many funny and strange things to see. She wanted to stay longer than I expected.
