  Dwarfs in Mirabel gardens
by tijs

Favorite thing: A colourful world of flowers and sculptures, artistically trimmed hedges and arbours, that's the Mirabellgarten. In 1606 Archbishop Wolf Diedrich built for his mistress Salome Alt the catle Altenau at the gates of the city. Later the whole area became a summer residence of the archbishops. The garden itself was designed by Fischer von Erlach in 1690.

Fondest memory: From the former Orangerie, through the arboured walk on the left side you will find the Hedge Theatre, and behind it there are the dwarfs. The stone dwarf figures look really cool, they represent different characters or professions.
