Tea & Sympathy: "The Queen Mum would approve: Tea & Sympathy" Tea & Sympathy Tip by jglsongs
Tea & Sympathy, New York City: 5 reviews and 2 photos
Tea & Sympathy is authentic British food in a small (very small) but homey atmosphere in the W. Village. You can have a long wait for a table at brunchtime, but early evenings are your best bet.
Favorite Dish: Of course, the teas are authentic and wonderfully brewed. Other English specialties are always on the menu, like Shepherd's Pie, Bangers and Mash, Cornish Pasties, Sticky Pudding.
If you get tired of clotted cream and Royal Doulton china pattern, they also own the fish and chips place next door, A Salt and Battery.
