Zum Schneider: "Noch ein Bier, bitte!: Zum Schneider" Zum Schneider Tip by jglsongs

Zum Schneider, New York City: 8 reviews and 5 photos

Zum Schneider hasn't been around that long, and is one of the places that is giving Alphabet City its renaissance. This is the closest thing to a real, honest-to-goodness German Kneipe or Biergarten there is in NY.

The atmosphere is very authentic; the proof is that you hear just as much German spoken as English.

Favorite Dish: The Leberkäse is excellent, the Wiener Schnitzel is huge, and the meats, Würste, cheeses are all as good and fresh as anything in Germany.

The beers...well, isn't it obvious it's going to be good here. Good selection, especially of Bavarian beers like Hofbräu, Paulaner, Löwenbräu, among others on tap.

Zum Schneider ist meine Empfehlung für gutes Deutsches Essen und Getränke.
