Go up to the Holmenkollbakken Ski museum and jump tower.
The tower offers a fantastic view of the city and surrounding area. The museum shows the history of skiing - well done. There's also a fun ski simulator, as well as a souvenier shop and cafeteria. If you have very young children, or have problems walking, be forewarned: there are lots of stairs to climb.

Directions: Kongeveien 5. Take the metro #1 up to Frognerseteren or Holmenkollen, then it's a short but steep walk up to the facilities. Wonderful area, with some nice restaurants nearby.
