De Waag, is what they call the weighing houses in The Netherlands. The weighing house in Gouda is one of the most important and oldest. It was built in 1668, and was designed by the Dutch architect Pieter Post.

Inside there is a n exhibition on cheese and how it is made. During the summer there are big cheese markets here.

Opened from april to october from 1 to 5. It is not opened on mondays and on thursdays it opens at 10.
