  Taeja's Restaurant
by AlbuqRay

Unfortunately, this restaurant closed at the end of July 2005. I am leaving the tip for the memories. Taeja's was the best Korean restaurant in Albuquerque. It was owned and run by Taeja and her daughters, Minji and Hyunji. It was more like eating at home than eating out. Korean is my favorite among Asian foods and is probably the healthiest to eat. Taeja's specialized in bulgogi's and they were excellent; however, the bibimbops and house special noodles were good also. The meals came with a wide assortment of delicious side dishes, including the best kimchi in Albuquerque. The service was friendly and competent. The restaurant was tastefully decorated and the restrooms were kept super clean.

Favorite Dish: Had you tried it, it is unlikely that you would have ever had a better soup than the Manduk Chi Gae (dumpling stew). It was hearty, hot and came with all the side dishes.
