Close by the statue of Saigo Takamori, this hall was part of the original Kanei-ji temple dating back to 1631 !

It is dedicated to Senju Kannon (100 armed group).

Also close by, go see the romb of the Shogi Tai. Two combstones dedicated to the many samurai who dies in the 1868 Battle of Ueno.
