Japan Restaurants: 260 reviews and 292 photos

A popular kind of sushi is called maki sushi, which is rolled in a sheet of nori (dried seaweed). There are many kinds of sushi roll, depending on the fillings. Some common maki sushi in Japan are tekkamaki (raw tuna filling), kappamaki (cucumber slice filling), and futomaki (includes ingredients such as seasoned kampyo (gourd strips), denbu (sweet powder), sweet omelet, and cucumber).

Favorite Dish: Depends on the restaurant, Sushi can be extremly expensive. But you will be able to find cheap places as well.

Here in Japan the 100yen restaurants are also everywhere to be found. You'll get 2 pices of sushi and up to 6 pices of maki sushi for less than 1 EURO. Can't beat that!!!
