Stefani's: "Did I say Cafe Iberico was my favorite restaurant?" Japonais Tip by MJB123

Japonais, Chicago: 26 reviews and 37 photos

I'm sorry. THIS IS MY FAVORITE RESTAURANT. This gem in Lincoln Park is not only classy and afordable BUT has food fit for a Ceasar to boot.
After dinner you may want to see a movie at The Biograph Theater where the FBI gunned down John Dillinger. Just take Fullerton east and make a hard left when you get to Lincoln Ave.

Favorite Dish: You know you are in an excellent restaurant when they start you out with Italian bread with extra virgin olive oil--and roasted garlic.
Some of the dishes may be outside your budget, but the pizza is quite afordable and authentic (hear that Pizzaria Uno lovers?) like you would have in Italy cooked in a wood burning oven.
Being a consumate Italophile, this is more a religious experience than a fine dining experience.
