  Calpe Harbour area

Javea has a museum worth visiting.Archaelogical and Ethnoligical Museum. It has important finds made around the area.Iberian jewllery and ornaments which were found on the Sierra de Montgo and a gold crown.I had my honey moon in Javea and it was my first time to the Costa Blanca.I fell in love with the area straight away. The valleys around Javea are full of orange trees and rugged mountain ranges.Javea is a large place but has its small quaint pretty areas.Javea has a 25km long coastline.
Next along is La Marina which is an area surrounded by mountain ranges.Thats what i like about the area, the mountains.Supose its because i was bought up in Norfolk, a totally flat area. The Sierra de Bernia is a stunning mountain range and reaches and head spinning height of 1,128 metres.Tarbena is at the top of these mountains and has Majorcan people mostly living there.Sobrasada is a tasty Majorcan sausage that they make there and i found it lip smacking. The hiking is very good in this area too.Castell de Castells has a great hiking path.
The next thing along here is the El Penon de Ifach in Calpe.Ive been here many times and think its a beautiful part of Calpe .You can park along the road running up to the rock near the harbour and then walk along the road to the Nature Reserve and rock.
