"Statue of Queen Wilhelmina" City landmarks Tip by nighthawk
City landmarks, The Hague: 8 reviews and 9 photos
Favorite thing: Just across the palace Noordeinde is a giant tree and somewhat to the left of it is this statue of Wilhelmina.
Written in the stone behind the statue is the title of a book she wrote: Lonely yet not alone.
I think she was a tragic queen, having had little of a childhood and being a queen at the early age of 18.
