Quite a stunning temple in an equally stunning location is Philae. Set on a small island just south of the low Aswan dam.

The temple is dedicated to the Egyptian God Isis, Goddess of Magic, daughter of Horus. (that Falcon looking guy...)

The temple was originally builit in the 4th century BC, though it had to be relocated block by block to its current position to rescue it from the rising waters of the now dammed Nile...
