"Take the train and have fun" Belgium Transportation Tip by tompt

Belgium is a small country and it is easy to travel by train from one end to the other. The upside on this is that everybody can have one or more of that great belgium beers.

We travelled by train from Antwerp to Gent, Brugge and Brussel. Every time with a group of VT members. And it was always fun !

We travelled during the weekend and tried to buy a group ticket on saturday. Well said the man behind the counter, that is impossible. you have to order them upfront......
OK what is the cheapest option? To take a weekend ticket.
The next sunday we tried to buy a weekend ticket at the same counter with the same man. He now advised us to take the groupticket??!!
This is Belgium, i gues.....

And ofcourse the conductors. The one that couldn't believe his eyes when we showed him a weekend ticket on monday. He must have be wondering... if we sell weekend tickets on this day (which was a day before an official holiday), why am i not payed for weekendwork?
