Medieval Throne Room, Tower of London

To be honest, the crown jewels are my least favourite part of the huge Tower of London complex. I love walking along the walls and looking at the displays in the various towers. I haven't seen all of it yet either so i need to make another trip. This photo is from the medieval throne room display where staff in period costume will tell you about life in the Tower many centuries ago.

There's a fairly steep entrance fee as well as senior and family rates but you could spend all day in here and i think it's well worth the money. I wouldn't bother with the crown jewels because it's a moving lineup and yes ok impressive to see but you could be spending that time seeing so much more.

See travelogue for more info and photos.
