Café-Bisto Restaurant Clementium: "Bistro Style Czech Dining" Clementinum Tip by mightywease
Clementinum, Prague: 1 reviews and 0 photos
This looks like a smell, sleek French style bistro with white walls, a few colourful modern pictures, chairs covered with while linen and large leafy plants breaking up the space.
The menu is an eclectic mixture of European and Czech dishes. Compared with other restaurants in Prague the portions seem quite small and almost nouvelle-cuisine like in size, however, this is deceptive as they are very filling.
The quality of the food is excellent and, though perhaps a little more expensive by Prague standards, is still very reasonably priced.
The service is friendly although maybe a little erratic. We waited quite a long time to order and then quite a while before the food arrived, however, if you are in no great rush the leisurely pace is quite relaxing and it is a comfortable place to just sit, chat and loosen up after a days sightseeing.
Favorite Dish: We had
French Onion Soup with White wine & Cheese Croutons
Goats Cheese in Pastry with honey and raspberry sauce
Rabbit Legs with Cream Sauce and Potato
Penne with Mushrooms, Broccoli, Salmon and Cream Sauce
Pancakes with Blueberries and Cream
Gratinated Sabayon (Baked strawberries, blackberries and Blueberries with egg-yoke cream)
Mexican Bay Cocktail
