It's one of the most beautyfull sea temples on Bali. In fact it's not a one temple but six. On the cliff, on the beach and between. It was established in the 16th century by the priest Nirartha, who is also a "father" of two much more known local sea temples - Tanah Lot and Ulu Watu.
Pura Rambut Siwi is located on the south cost, between villages of Air Satang and Yeh Embang, just few kilometers from very well known surfer's spot of Medewi Beach. It's a very peacfull place, shaded by frangipiani trees, so please respect its quiteness. And if you're in shorts or short skirt don't hesitate to rent a sarong from the placekeeper. He can also provide you a lot of informations about the temple. After visiting it, don't forget to give a small donation, usually something between 5000 and 10000 Rps.
You can find more pictures of this temple in my Travelogue
