"George Street's first style bar" George Street Tip by leok

George Street, Edinburgh: 30 reviews and 29 photos

The Grill room holds this bar's highlight - the ceiling, which gave the place it's name. It also has a large impressive looking well stocked bar in the centre of the room. The venue used to be a bank and looks like it's had a fortune spent on it. It also has a another bar in the building. Popular with the 30+ crowd in the evenings. A good place to go with te folks for sunday lunch. Next door is club whynot which was OK when I went many years ago but didn't make me want to rush back.
