"Going to the Snow Mountain can be expensive" Lijiang Warnings Or Dangers Tip by hooiluangoh

Lijiang Warnings and Dangers: 26 reviews and 17 photos

A trip to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain will costs RMB 80 per person when your taxi stops at the tollgate into this mountain region. The RMB 80 includes a RMB 40 for the toll and RMB 40 for your visit into Lijiang old town, as it is more convenient to collect the "admission ticket" into the old town this way.

There are 3 cable cars which take tourists up to the moutain. The main one costs RMB 160 return. This takes you into the mountain on the glacier itself.

The one taking you to "Yun San Ping" costs RMB 120 return. According to the local, take the horse up this route and you get really good view of the whole place.

The one taking you to "Mao Niu Ping" costs RMB 60 return. On Mao Niu Ping you get a full view of the 13 peaks of Jade Dragon Snow Moutain.

And not forgetting the taxi fare itself costs between RMB 60 to RMB 80.
