"Medieval City centre" Medieval City Centre Tip by HafricH

Medieval City Centre, Gent: 9 reviews and 18 photos

You should come and see the medieval harbour in the current city centre, a place wehere during the evening in summer time a lot of pepole gather to just sit around and have a drink...
And off course there are the monuments: city hall, the churches, cathedral with the world famous painting 'the Lamb of God' by Van Eyck, the medieval castle (Gravensteen), the former 'palace' of the socialist movement, now a cultural centre 'Vooruit' with a great Grand Cafı, boasting daily concerts, theatre productions,... a must see! Great architecture and...they serve a more than decent beer!!
