Favorite thing: Although Ljubljana is not a great place during the winter it gets very beautiful place as Christmas and New Year's are approaching. Streets and squares get decorated with thousands of lights, you can hear music on the streets and there are many people walking around. Some manifestations take place in the open and there is also Christmas market where you can buy tons of useles (or not so useles ;) ) things or just wander around.
