Tea Houses are a cheap and convenient form of accommodation when trekking through Nepal. They are extremely cheap and extremely basic. You should always bring your own sleeping bag; they will provide Nepali straw woven mats for you. They are normally hearth-type homes converted into Tea Houses for trekkers and backpackers. They also have food, and even if you are not staying at one, you can stop and get some food while on your trek.
