Fondest memory: I don't think it would be classified as my fondest memory, but I found the traffic and parking in the city to be very intriguing. It seemed to me as though the city was set up with no plan whatsoever....wherever they wanted to put a building, they put it! Consequently, everything seems to be jumbled and crazy. The traffic is amazing, whizzing between these buildings in little alleys, inches from the parked vehicles on both sides---pazzo!! One day my sister and I were waiting for Sergio, and a man came along and proceeded to park in a tiny spot right in front of us. He rocked back and forth, bumping the cars in front and in back of him, for a couple of minutes....when he finally finished and got out of the car, we gave him a round of applause! He naturally took a bow and we all laughed!! It was so silly.....here is a picture of the normal parking in Rome with one of those funny little 3-wheel cars I mentioned previously.
