Fish, Mussels & Seafood: "Don't miss the fresh seafood !" Information & Sources Tip by matcrazy1
Information & Sources, Brussels: 94 reviews and 92 photos
Walking on a street full of restaurants close to Grand Place (Rue des Bouchers) I noticed a lot of fresh seafood there.
Brussels is famous for mussels (mules) which are prepared in different ways at numerous seafood restaurants. Don't miss them. Hmm... I would add french (or rather Belgian) fries and good white wine or Belgian beer to them. Btw I heard that French fries were invented in Belgium and should be called Belgium fries hehe.
Other seafood? I would love cooked or smoked salmon or famous Belgian Croquettes de crevettes ( Shrimp croquettes).
Favorite Dish: Seafood!
Address: Rue des Bouchers
Price Comparison: more expensive than average
Directions: A street leaving the Grand Place opposite to the Hotel de Ville (Town Hall).
